Piedmont Farm Animal Refuge: Style Guide

Piedmont Farm Animal Refuge (PFAR) is a nonprofit vegan organization in Pittsboro, North Carolina that's main focus is to remove farm animals from the meat, dairy, and egg industry.

This is the final Style Guide for PFAR. I worked on updating their logo and better defining and laying out the typefaces and colors for their branding.

The original logo is the Horizontal Lock up, which can be seen on page 2 of the style guide. I worked on creating the Vertical Lockup and the newsprint logo for PFAR. We decided it would be best to create these options to be more flexible for future designs. Additionally, we set up rules for sizing the logo, tag lines, and icon for their promotional materials.

PFAR's original colors are the top row of the color section. We worked on finding close pantone matches and also provided a accent colors with "PFAR Purple" and "PFAR Grey."

Lastly we defined rules for using their selected typeface, "Cicle" and proposed two new typefaces, "Alternate Gothic" and "Malam."
